Customer satisfaction is invaluable to us and we will endeavour to rectify any issues as soon as practicable.
In the unlikely event that you are not satisfied with your completed GemPort Jewellery product, please contact us as soon as possible. Remember to include customer name, invoice/reference number and contact details.
DO NOT MARK ANY PACKAGING USING THE TERM ‘JEWELLERY’ on the outside – or any other wording that suggests packaging contains valuable items.
The item(s) must be returned to GemPort, complete with original packaging and with a full explanation as to the nature of the complaint, within 5 working days. GemPort (or an authorised approved representative or supplier of GemPort) will then endeavour to rectify any issues as quickly as possible.
GemPort Jewellery will take no responsibility for the return of items that have been *wilfully, *neglectfully, *accidentally or *criminally damaged. Damaged goods due to customer negligence or damaged by a third party will not be accepted for refund. Worn goods as evidenced by micro scratches, dirt, neglect, workmanship from another jeweller etc will not be accepted.
Postage costs will be paid for initially by the customer or returnee and postal cost refunds will be at the desecration of GemPort.
Refunds and exchanges will only be considered under certain circumstances, for example, faulty workmanship or manufacturing defect. A refund or exchange will not be offered for the following reasons;
a) Customer change of mind (piece of jewellery) or change of heart (cancellation of engagement/wedding).
b) Damage/neglect caused as at * above.
c) Loss of item(s) at no fault of GemPort Jewellery.
It is company policy, unless agreed otherwise, that all customers provide a 50% deposit to commence an order/casting of any item of jewellery or timepiece or repair or modification.
Final payment, (remaining 50% of balance) is due on completion/collection (or if postal service prior to despatch ) – without exception.
Payment may be made by cash, BACS, debit/credit card or cheque, (please allow 7 clear days for funds to clear if paying by cheque).
GemPort Jewellery reserve the right to refuse admission or agree to an appointment with any individual(s) without giving a reason as to the nature of the refusal.
Parking is only available with the direct permission of GemPort Jewellery and usually after 5pm week days and during working hours Saturday & Sunday.
GemPort have the right to retain any items, either new/pre-owned or repaired or modified, until full and final payment is received.
